A Return I Didn’t Expect

I thought experiencing these forms was over—but recently, this happened.

It was June 8, 2022. I’m only now writing about it because I’m not always able to write, or I’m busy painting. My friend Aasha called me and mentioned a video she found. It was from a temple called Shanti Mandir, founded by the followers of Swami Muktananda Baba. They were chanting something associated with him and his teachings.

To note, he is a member of the lineage of Gurus of Sri Nandini Maa.

This triggered the episode. As I watched and listened, I began to feel an upsurge of the Shakti energy—and I began to change into Swami Muktananda.

The Shift in Energy

My complexion changed to a darker tone (much like Swami Muktananda). My forehead shifted—lines appeared, and the energy concentrated there. The feeling in my body was different. I entered a blissful state, with strong energy especially in the forehead area.

It was unlike experiencing Shri Nandini Maa. I really can’t describe these different states of Gurus and Gods. They are all blissful or powerful—or I should say, each carries a different essence.

So don’t let anyone tell you it’s all the same. Every experience I’ve encountered has a different essence.

Capturing the Moment

Because I was speaking to my friend, I said, “Let me take some pictures.” I was experiencing Swami Muktananda in my body.

I changed seats to look out the window, and then slowly began to return to normal.
