Salutations & Poetic Offerings are whispers from the heart. They are not written to be understood, but to honor. Each ode is a doorway—sometimes surrender, sometimes reverence, sometimes self‑embrace, sometimes blessing. Read them as you would sit in stillness: without expectation, letting them ripple gently through your own being. If they resonate, let them be light in your heart. If not, let them pass like wind through trees.

This page is simply when inspiration flows into words.
✦ Surrender ✦
This ode arises from the deepest bow of the heart. It is not a striving, nor a seeking, but a quiet yielding into the Source itself. In surrender, all opposites dissolve—life and death, joy and grief—into the One who holds them. May these words remind us that surrender is not loss, but the doorway into wholeness.
I surrender to you,
God of God.
Love of Love
Peace of Peace
Sweet of Sweet
Joy of Joy
Hope of Hope
Life of Life
And Death of Death
For it is.

✦ Now I Have Time to Love Myself ✦
This poem carries the remembrance of a life lived in devotion to others—family, duty, and care—where the self was often set aside. Now, in the quiet of retirement and solitude, the heart turns inward. It is a hymn to rediscovery: of self, of God, of joy in simple acts. I feel completed. For the love I gave to family was also love of myself—and now, in this quiet time, I discover yet another flowering of that love.

I was always busy in life,
never had time for me.
Learning in school, doing chores, coping with drama —
never time for me, but I smiled.
Learning to cook, learning about being an adult,
and all the other things we try:
learning to conform to society,
getting the university education —
never time for me, but I smiled.
Learning the married life,
bearing the children,
working and working —
never took time for me, but I smiled.
Being a good spouse,
teaching and growing my children,
washing thousands of laundry items,
buying thousands of groceries,
cooking hundreds of meals (not necessarily my favorites — everyone else’s) —
never took time for me, but I smiled.
Coping with sleepless nights:
children’s common ailments, doctor’s visits,
everyday worries, friends or family departures —
never took time for me, but I smiled.
Now I am retired.
My husband has left the earthly plane.
My children are living their own lives. So now I have time for me.
Now I have time to love my own self.
Now I have time to truly love God —
or question the existence.
Was I spending time loving my friends and family and other things?
Yes.
But never had time for me.
Was that time for me?
It was only time for part of me.
Now I have time to find the other part of me.
So I cook what I like.
I dance how I like.
I dress how I like.
I stay away from drama.
Now I have time for me — and I smile.
I garden and watch the flowers.
I observe nature.
I paint the flowers and things of nature.
For I have time for me — and I smile.
I meditated and found the real me that was hidden. Now I am — and I smile.
As I meditated,
I received the gift of the ability to bless others,
and to give meditation.
So sometimes I bless others,
give meditation, and spread good thoughts.
I feel completed.
So I paint, paint, paint —
and take pictures of my flowers.

✦ Ode to the Sun ✦

This ode is a hymn to the radiant giver of life. The sun is not only light in the sky, but warmth in the heart, sustenance for the body, and a reminder of the Creator’s brilliance. May these words awaken gratitude for the daily rising that sustains all beings.
Oh heavenly sun,
I get to see you rise every day
and remove the darkness of the night,
Oh heavenly sun,
how I love your warmth
in the early morning breeze.
Oh heavenly sun,
how the plants must love you as they are
always leaning in your direction.
Oh heavenly sun,
your rays are a part of me, you are part of the sustenance of life
and I cannot live without you.
Oh heavenly sun,
even the birds know of your greatness
as they wake up to start their day.
Oh creator of the sun,
how great must be your intellect,
your love and your beauty.

✦ Blessed Be ✦

A Whispered Offering
This ode came through me in stillness.
I did not write it to be understood, but to honor.
It is a blessing from the inside—a soft ripple from the sacred space I dwell in.
I share it here not for recognition, but because creation asked to be witnessed.
If it resonates, let it be a quiet light in your own heart.
If not, let it pass like wind through trees.
Blessed be.
Blessings to the plant and animals
Blessings to mother earth
Blessings to the sun
Blessings to the wind
Blessings to the water
Blessings to the space we dwell in
Blessings to the sacred heart
Blessings to the sacred soul
Blessings to the sacred electrical current and the life-force
Blessings from the sacred space of the human dimension of consciousness in light, bliss and glorious-ness.
Blessed be
Blessings to the grace itself for grace is the blessing.

✦ In Am ✦
I do not recall the place or the details that led me here. What remains is the experience itself — the opening into space, light, and love. This poem carries that remembrance, not of circumstance, but of essence. May it serve as a doorway into the eternal “I Am.”
1. Returning in Love, in Light
In “Consciousness” — no body, nobody.
Only space.
Returning — in light, in love.
Then in thought —
the body is blissful,
the mind is peaceful,
the heart is full.
It has eaten love,
no longer searching in the physical,
nor in the emotional world of ego.
“I am” —
that space, that light, that love.
This whole life —
a journey to unite with my Beloved,
for the heart seeks love
through people and actions.
This world returns, and goes away…
2. I Am That
Behold, I am always with you.
I am hidden.
I am beyond religion.
I am the bliss of the soul,
the peace in the mind,
the silence in sound,
the vibration in the universe
— within and without.
I am found through
the purification of the heart.
Religions and doctrines
are only attempts
to purify the heart.

✦ The Tree ✦

A voice of the living tree, reminding us of the unseen unity between nature and our own being. May these words open the heart to reverence and recognition.
O Man, do you see me?
I stand before you—yet do you truly see?
When you sheltered beneath my limbs
from the sun and rain, was that all you saw?
When you rested under my branches
and drifted into sleep, was that all you saw?
When you tasted my fruit,
was that all you saw?
Did you not also see that I am part of you?
That my breath moves within your lungs?
Do you not see me flowing through your blood, your arteries?
I am part of you— yet you grant me little worth.

✦ True Divinity ✦
✦ ⊂◉⊃ ✦
This reflection arose as a vision of what it means to embody divinity—not as something distant, but as the living presence of love and grace flowing through human expression.
When your very presence emanates love,
When everything you touch becomes blessed,
When your very presence heals at the quantum level,
When your very words become scripture,
Then heaven lies within you—and you take it everywhere.
When human expression becomes divine expression,
then we are truly co-creators with the Divine.
❂
I take your grace so that I can give your grace.
I take your love so that I can give your love.
For I am in you and you are in me.
We meet in the temple of the heart, which is the heart of the temple.
Let the love and grace flow…

May these offerings ripple gently across the spaces of your own journey. They are shared not for recognition, but because creation asked to be witnessed. May surrender, self‑love, reverence, and blessing weave together as one stream of grace.
