What is Satsang?

Satsang, from the Sanskrit sat (truth) and sanga (company), is most simply described as a spiritual gathering—a coming together in the presence of truth. Traditionally, it is the fellowship of seekers listening to teachings, chanting, meditating, or sitting with a Guru. Yet beyond definition, satsang is an experience: a date with God, an evening in heaven, a circle of light where hearts awaken. It is the company of truth both within and without, a doorway into silence where words dissolve and only presence remains.

Here’s a short video explaining more about satsang, a doorway into truth and presence:

Closing Reflection

Satsang is not only a gathering in time—it is a living state of communion. When we sit together in truth, the boundaries of self soften and the Divine becomes tangible. Yet satsang does not end when the meeting disperses; it lingers as a fragrance in the heart, reminding us that every moment can be a date with God, every breath an evening in heaven. To live in satsang is to carry the company of truth wherever we go, letting it illuminate our daily steps with love and presence.
