The universal truth is that prayer is universal in the way it works. Each culture and people call God by different names but the way it works is the same on the planet. Use your religion to explore God. Use it to uplift yourself. Use it to become wise. Don’t use it to convert and kill others. Truth will dawn on anyone from anywhere on the planet or elsewhere who approaches God with an open heart and open mind.

Sit down in a chair with your back straight. Take about 3 relaxing breaths.

Clasp your hands in prayer mudra (with palms together all fingers touching each other) and place it at the level of your heart touching your body. This way you will access the heart and brain together. Whenever we begin any prayer we must say a thankful prayer or prayer of gratitude. The words we use in prayer are very important so instead of saying, ” God we pray that there is no war” we say something like “God we prayer for peace or peaceful diplomacy.

Dear God
Thank you for this life, this wonderful life. Thank you for this life experience on this earth.

We as an earth family join together in this moment in eternity, from this space in the heart to pray together for peace. We pray for peaceful diplomacy among world leaders. We pray for unity among the religious and spiritual leaders. We pray for a rise in intelligence and compassion.

We pray that we relate to each other as souls and not just the physical body that we inhabit.

We pray for peace, love, unity and cooperation among all of us.
