We are seeds of love
Always looking for love, always giving love or trying to give love, loving ourselves or trying to love ourselves
Our greatest stories are love stories. Our greatest saints are lovers of GOD.
Let us fill our hearts with love. Divine Love and let it overflow. It will sprout seeds and grow.
Let us nurture this Divine Love.
What are the seeds of love?
Is it loving yourself? Is it loving your family and others? Is it loving the other creatures around us? Is is loving mother earth?
Love seems to require a preceptor/perception and an object. Or, a heart and an object. Divine Love is when the preceptor/perception becomes one with the object of the subject. There is no subject and object. Then the definition of love changes. It is more of a radiation of love. The ego is the thing that separates the object and the subject.
WHEN YOU LOVE GOD WITH A PASSION or HAVE A SPACE IN YOUR HEART FOR GOD.

Happiness?
Many say the goal in life is to find happiness. Is happiness a moment? Is happiness peace? Is happiness bliss. I would say we want the following:
– Our physical needs be filled
– Our emotional needs be filled
– Our intellectual needs
– Our societal needs
– Our spiritual
We want all of this because we anticipate some pleasure or at least lack of hurt or turmoil.
So deep down we are seeking some kind of feeling inside that makes us feel good to our core or a feeling of pleasure that is so deep that it makes us feel whole. We would not know that but we just know that we seek pleasure and wish to stay away from pain.
We want to sing
We want to dance
We want to be creative
We want to feel inspired
We want to feel loved
We want to feel ecstatic
We want to know the creator
We want everyone to feel this
For if this is what we want then this must be why we are here and why achieving it will be a success.
So life has finally been a success.
It is life itself that has to be a success for you are life itself.
We do all sorts of things and buy all sorts of things to try to fill the “whole” in us. How do we succeed?.
So how do we inspire ourselves?
We can read books of inspiration.
We can meditate on how to be inspired, by just giving the idea to the mind to work on it for you. You see then again if the mind is everywhere how are you going to get it become inspirational?
This is why a different kind of “process” or meditation (I call everything meditation) is necessary. It would be one of the different yogas.
If you are taught a technique that will help you stay healthy, you may find it difficult to adapt if you are not sick. Only when you are sick will getting better be your inspiration to do the practice.
Are you inspired enough to be success?
Success in Life?
MEDITATION IS ABOUT FINDING THE ULTIMATE TREASURE
Many think that meditation is about sitting down and just saying peace or paying attention to your breath. That is only part of it. It is about changing your future. It is about changing your DNA and affecting change around you according to the nature of the universe. The past cannot be changed but your future can.
Let’s take a ride on a story for a minute. This is a complete fictional story based on what the information I have read regarding our past lives and putting it into the philosophy.
Mr. A is courting this girl, Miss B. She loves someone else and finally is about to be married. Mr A personality is so structured that he cannot get her and out of his mind. He feels like he cannot get on in life. He feels a certain rage and walks up to beat the fiancé as everyone is gathered for the wedding. People hold him back and he leaves. He’s is so distraught that he gets into a car accident and dies. He was otherwise a good person and had done many good deeds. He goes to the heaven. I will use that word because everyone uses it but it is not so and I don’t want to say much about this right now. All he feels is this rage because it was the last thing he was immersed in when he lost his body. That becomes a “vasana” that stays with him even when he gets another body to come back on the earth plane. So as a baby he is born to parents who one of them has the DNA of getting irritated quickly. He can learn to resolve this or repeat a life of some rage and become destructive or neither learns anything or lose anything so it is stuck with him from lifetime to lifetime until he does “sadhana” to get rid of it. Sadhana is practicing yoga in all dimensions but we have different names for what part of the layer of the body we are working on. In this case it is the emotion of anger.
If you have not lost your ability to cope with your anger or other things like fear, jealousy, hatred etc then you will take this to what your call heaven and even cause chaos there. What do you think? Time is really infinite so you could come and go thousands of times.
Then I will add another dimension here. The yogis say that then there is karma to be worked out here between Mr. A and Miss B and her husband. But when Mr. A got reincarnated Miss B and her husband are not on earth. They are in the astral plane waiting for a body. So then how does Mr. A lose that karma or “vasana”? Does he store it to become disease in the lifetimes ahead or not?
You see, if you wake up all the dead people and you tell them about God even they will only have the perception that they died with. With a body they would only have the intelligence of the last time they had lived in and the last thing that was embedded in their “vasana” database. This is why in Hinduism it is said that if you died thinking of God you will attain.
So, the creator has embedded within us a way to lose our destructive “vasanas” and embrace our divine nature. We are like a lamp in a room but the room(our temple of the body) has many cobwebs and dust (destructive “vasanas”, karmas) that once cleared then the room becomes brighter and brighter and shines on everyone around. When the light is so bright just the presence alone will clear the cobwebs of other surrounding lamps so that they would shine more bright. This is just a way of explaining it.
The brightest lamp is the “Guru of truth, knowledge and bliss” who by being lit by another such ‘Guru” starts the process happening in you. That is the aim of all the living masters. They are giving different tools and ways to clear your room.
In our daily lives dust gathers every day in our house and if we don’t clean it daily it builds up and pretty soon you see cobwebs and spiders or other critters start taking over. So we must clean daily so muck does not accumulate. In the same way doing our spiritual practice should be a daily routine. We interact with each other daily and if we are not conscious enough we can be storing cobwebs. We can clean the cobwebs in the morning, evening or both.
When we become conscious enough these cobwebs get cleaned daily automatically and you don’t have to make any effort. So, just as you have to make a great deal of effort to acquire a PHD so to you must make some start where you are at.
The creator has embedded this infinite intelligence within us. So nobody is at a disadvantage.

The beauty of the flower came from within its creation itself and results from being properly nurtured. So too, nurture yourself from the inside with proper food, proper thoughts, proper exercise and going inside to feel your connection to God. Allow your inner light to shine through.

Our purpose of life is to evolve and become an expression of the divine. Let our hearts expand with love to a new level of consciousness.
Let us learn to be the observer of our thoughts so that we can have a moment to choose our words or action.

In human life the child transforms into a teenager with all the hormonal changes. It never happens at the same age for every girl. It depends on diet and genes. It is within the one lifetime.
In the same way this evolutionary impulse and force awakens naturally in humans when the time is right. The difference is the time. It is after thousands of lifetime. Comparatively, the diet and genes are the karma of the human.

Create a positive, peaceful environment.
Create a positive, peaceful environment around your home. Thoughts have difference frequencies. Positive thoughts operate at a higher frequency than negative thoughts. Do an experiment and visit a place of worship and then visit the cemetery, butchery or hospital. Pick up the frequency and see what you experience. See the difference? We have the ability to impact our surroundings just by our thoughts. So be a positive impact on the world, and strive to be positive.
When in times of sadness or you are caught in the mind field(constant thoughts that does not leave and keep you awake) then it’s time to take some action and embrace this opportunity to grow spiritually. Do some yoga exercises to help dispel those thoughts and remember they are just thoughts and not who you are.
Take the time to start connecting to God internally also. Do meditation to lessen the thoughts and give you that blankness between thoughts so that you can become aware and be able to choose “positivity”, love and compassion and abundance in your life. The spirit is forever free and blissful and experiencing it will start letting go of the ego.

If you approach God with logic only more questions arise. If you approach God with love then answers arise, for love is God’s language. So go within using God’s language and start your communion.

The Little Heart
The little heart felt alive and happy. It stepped out into the world
One can say our hearts contain many pieces of smaller hearts. Each loved one is like a piece that stepped out in the world. It undergoes rough and easy relationships that happens within itself, but you are there always ready(especially as a parent) to see that heart and embrace it because it is connected to the place where it was born in your heart.
We also find hearts that somehow has the same frequency so we connect to that heart and soon we put that piece inside of us. We embrace it and soon it is so much part of your heart it feels like it was born there.
The heart that stepped out into the world then starts to look for things and people to fill itself. It does many things and then like you finds other hearts to connect with.
What is our expectation for a piece of us? Did it spread love? Did it cause hate? Did it meet your expectation as you let it out in the world? While resting within you, you had given it all the love you could. In reality it is still in you so you do have some expectation of that part of yourself. Was it enough to light up other hearts? Was it enough to make the world a better place for other hearts? If someone stomped on that heart, did you feel it in your heart because of the cosmic connection?
If one of the pieces of the heart goes away and does not come back then there is hole inside your heart where it fitted. It is like a piece that is missing. Then your heart is left with that space. The other hearts inside gather around more closely to fill that space. They cannot fill that space but they help by huddling close together in your heart. Then you feel a little relief. It looks like everything is happening on the outside but it is happening on the inside. You realize that piece of you is still there whether it feels like a memory or not. It still occupied space in your heart. What is important is that you give the love because the love is the space.
So inside of us we are all carrying a piece of someone’s else’s heart. We decide how we embrace it or how we relate to it and decide what we do with it. Should we open it? Should we expand it or should we lock it away so it don’t get hurt?
In the same way we carry the hearts of our loved ones so to the Cosmic Divine Mother carries us in her heart. Each heart is important because a space exists there. It is where you came from and important just like the hearts in you are important. Everything was taking place inside of you- all the joy or hurt or happiness.
Whenever we ever feel an overwhelming love inside and it is not really geared to a person or thing and our hearts are overflowing for no reason and our being feels peaceful with no thoughts then we are connecting our heart with the heart of the Divine mother who nurtures us in her heart of creation.

Some Wisdom from the Bhagavad Gita on Gift Giving
Love freely. Serve freely. Give without expectations. Share your gifts with the world.
The above card was given to me by a wonderful devotee of God and in it contains all the wisdom of gift giving. In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna covers charity and gift giving and there are many different translations into English. Below is one I came across and loved.
Krishna: “A gift is pure when it is given from the heart to the right person at the right time and at the right place, and when we expect nothing in return. But when it is given expecting something in return, or for the sake of a future reward or a specific type of sentiment in return, the gift is of Rajas (impurity). And a gift given to the wrong person, at the wrong time and the wrong place, or a gift which comes not from the heart, and is given with proud contempt, is a gift of darkness.”
The Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 17, Verses 20-22

The Only Constant
The only constant in the universe is the Atman(Soul) It remains unchanged through space and time. Everything else in the universe we perceive is subject to change. The universe is expanding and some solar systems are collapsing. Our own sun is changing.
In the same way our bodies are changing every minute even as you are reading this. It is only after some time we see how we have grown older. In the same way we are looking for happiness and we do one thing after the next to find it. So happiness is also a state that we cannot hold on to as you go through from birth to death.
It is only if you can contact and be immersed in the Atman which is not subject to change will that bliss constant. We will still encounter challengers and difficulties in the world but you will be able to face it head on. We will not store it to become disease. There is a kind of state where we see everything in a different light and we will know that things will change and it will be okay. Realizing this will change us. Our being itself radiates peace and bliss that others around may pick up and feel happy and peaceful. The feeling to take care of each other and the animals and the planet arises naturally. Your creativity expands more than you can fathom. The brain and the nervous system would have to have changed completely to experience this. In modern terms it would be like a new app was loaded inside of you – God’s app.
Teachers and saints have come and gone teaching the same thing but the understanding has not been the same for everyone because each person is subject to his or her own karma. The human brain continues to evolve and it is through that we perceive and discover new things. It is also the tool that has to be tuned to unfold the purpose of life and true spirituality.
How does the love of God help you?
Through purification of the body then the Atman can be realized. When you love God with all your heart and might he shows you everything and comes to dwell in your heart.
There’s another aspect of how this works also. We are all born with the feeling of being alone to a certain extent and so we look to connect in relationships. Some have said that is a primordial feeling that comes from being separated from the unifying field of creation or God(Paramatma). When we connect to family we feel somewhat fulfilled but we develop certain expectations from our spouses, children, family and relatives and this sometimes causes rifts or frictions because nobody is fulfilling what each other is expecting from the relationship. So life becomes stressful and we don’t feel happy and the immune system is compromised causing health problems. So our inside is not happy. It’s good to love each other without expectations but at the end of the day when the marriage gets older and the children leave, one will still be feeling that something is missing. It is the feeling of being “whole” in the heart.
Also, we would see people working very hard to make a lot of money so that they can feel happy or fill that primordial need to feel whole in the heart. We can see the examples of the rich and famous in Hollywood that have a lot of money and even have many marriages but still end up unhappy and some gravitate to drugs.
When we start loving God without expectations then another kind of love starts filling the heart. As we begin and continue to meditate we also begin to love ourselves a little more(like a side effect) and this love grows and there is a heart and brain connection that starts to happen. The brain and nervous system begins to change and the immune system starts changing. Moments of bliss begin to happen and that “hole” in the heart starts to feel “whole” again. One finally begins to feel fulfilled. So it’s science of the brain on “God” instead of drugs. There is no need for fanatics. It is a quiet feeling of love and transcends into our daily lives and we begin to be so much at ease that our purpose and happiness is there. We don’t have to “try” to be good or do good for each other or know that each person is another version of your own self.
How can we begin the process of finding that happiness?
In addition to what the great religions have taught about no cheating, killing and stealing etc, you must understand the universal law of karma and reincarnation.
Beginners can also:
- Maintain good hygiene
- Maintain a clean house and surroundings
- Eat unprocessed sattvic food
- Cook when you are in a good frame of mind or sing or chant God’s name. Cook with love. You will be surprised how wonderful the food tastes. Sit with your family to eat and turn off all electronic equipment
- Exercise and go out in nature. Do some yoga. Stay electronic free for at least 1 day of the week
- Pray earnestly from the heart. Always be thankful and start any prayer with a prayer of gratitude. As a matter when you arise each day be thankful for just being alive
- Chant God’s name through bhajans, kirtan and vedic mantras. This is one of the most powerful tools to awaken the divinity within you and starts melting those impressions in the mind. This is a whole topic by itself.
- Sit quietly and meditate for 20 minutes
- Read spiritual books
- Plant a garden in summer if you can
- Seek the company of saints, satgurus and masters whenever you get the chance
- If you are not drawn to the belief in God then spend a few minutes in contemplation closing your eyes sitting upright in a chair and as the question to yourself “who am I”.
- Don’t think that you have to leave your family to pursue this. Family life enhances our spiritual growth and helps us to feel our connection with each other. It helps us to see everyone as our extended family, just like ourselves going through different difficulties.
- By practicing some of this you will notice you are becoming less angry, less jealous, not chasing too much materialistic things etc.
This begins to change the brain and nervous system and sets the stage for a body conducive to true dhyan(meditation) leading to samadhi/acension/nirvana.
On a societal level, a more peaceful you creates a more harmonic presence which creates a more harmonic home, school, workplace, society, world and universe. It will never be perfect for this is the impermanence of the earth plane but we can try for peace, at least.

A Moment in Time:
Life happens, breath happens and death happens. So how do we live while breath happens?
Life is just a moment in time for we could only live one moment and then it’s the past. So how do we live this moment?
- Smile a lot
- Consider life as a gift and hold everything in that gratitude and do everything while being present
- Learn about food and nutrition. Learn to cook your own food Take time to express gratitude before you eat. Bless your food before you eat. It only takes a few seconds. You don’t have to do it for others to see. It is done within you. When eating take time to savor the food in your mouth as you chew. Feel the taste of the food completely and that would help you to eat less. Also use your hands sometimes if you can. Our hands have energy that comes out of it and will energize your food. Bless the water that you drink giving it healing properties and whatever good intention.
- Be happy of others success and your success in your many endeavors
- You have to work to earn a living so work. Choose a career that is moral to your ethical nature
- Observe your emotions as they arise and think before you act until your being learns how to handle your emotions automatically to have a positive outcome for your growth.
- Understand that each expression of the creator and each experience itself is unique. Your laughter, sadness and other emotions are never the same experience. There is always a different flavor to you experience. Each meal you cook, each time you dance, each time you laugh or cry or anything it is always different. If you look at each apple in an apple tree than you will see that each one is unique. Don’t expect to have the same experiences as other people and don’t look to recreate one from the past for as I stated each one is different.
- Everyone is another version of yourself coping with a different situational circumstance and maybe handling life differently than you but try to handle your response to everything doing the best you can. Be kind.
- There are common things in our life that we experience and that is what we should base our commonality and unity on as human beings. Even experiencing bliss has a little different flavor.
- Consider spirituality as the marriage between God and science for science is study of God creation – like studying an artist by looking at his work.
- To know God personally one must go inside oneself and study oneself for up to now it is the only way it has been done.

Daily Thoughts and Realizations along the inner journey:
I am always learning something new. We learn from others, books and our own observances and experiences. True spiritual growth comes from our inner knowing and experiencing and not from books. My advice is to learn how to learn, and then never stop learning. The greatest learning comes from observation and experience and not books. Spirituality requires all of these and a new dimension, the dimension of energy.
When I saw others cry I felt sad also. When I was in the presence of an angry person I felt agitated also. When I was in the presence of my guru Shree Nandini Maa then I felt something different, a divine presence. I felt the pulsation, the divine current, the shakti within and also felt meditative. So in the same way when we are in the presence of someone absorbed in divine presence we feel the divinity or we can feel the subtle energy. We are connected more than we realize.
True authentic power needs true intelligence to wield. Who can judge one’s intelligence? This is why some saints surrender to the intelligence of the creator. We can assist nature but we cannot control it. In fact all healing comes from the source and healers are instruments of energy and intentions filled with compassion.
The only constant in the universe is change. Being able to adapt to change is one of the keys to success in any endeavor even in “sadhana.” In fact, it is just not doing one thing over and over again and waiting for some big bang ending. Together with the practice it is seeing the changes that is happening and flowing with the change as you begin to flow with the universe. One has to be able to cut old things out of the way and let new things come in.
Storing old feelings of hurt and guilt only causes disease later on in this life or another. Anger and jealousy etc, might not leave you quickly but it is a marker for one to reevaluate a situation and then have the appropriate action or inaction. So it is not a bad thing as you begin to grow because you get to decide on the action you take. You can choose forgiveness or see why it is causing so much turmoil within you. Just pay attention to it and watch it leave your system. Just don’t store anything. What I noticed is that meditation helped me to understand myself better and it also destroyed some of those old seeds.
I found that admitting you don’t know is the first step to move into knowing. It is only then your true quest will begin and the universe will start giving you answers.
True knowing is only in the experience of the knowing. Someone went to another country that you have never visited and brought back some pictures. You heard about the place and you might have a good time imagining and feel like you were there. But in reality it will not be the same until you go there yourself.
Science is nothing but the research of the creator and the creation. It is not separate. The mainstream scientists uses certain methodology to come up with results. In the same way the Yogi studies the creation through the study of oneself. The study of anything is always connected to the one that perceives. Our instruments of perception is what is different from one person to another.
True seekers are guided to the knowledge or a teacher that is right for them at any particular time. It is up to the seeker to realize this and and start seeing the synchronicity of things.

Desiderata by Max Ehrmann
“Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals; and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy.”
————————-
As you are a child in the universe, meditate and and evolve as the universe is evolving.
Sow the seeds of love.

My wish for you is to realize your full potential and expand your love. Carry this love in your daily relationships at home, work and community. Connect with your divinity inside to better connect with your divinity on the outside. Enjoy your job, take care of your family and the planet. Meditate to bring about peace within you and the beings around you.
Peace unto you, my dear reader.
