We are constantly changing on the outside. Our bodies change. Our circumstances change. Our relationships change. Our thoughts and emotions change. Even our understanding of ourselves changes as we move through life.

Yet, through all these changes, something remains present within us.

We often identify ourselves with what we are experiencing at the moment.

I am happy.
I am angry.
I am successful.
I am afraid.
I am this person, with this history, these experiences, these beliefs.

But if all of these things are changing, who is it that is experiencing the changes?

Becoming is using what is happening to us as part of our transformation into what we want to become.

When we watch what is unfolding within us, we begin to see a doorway—a place where we can choose.

We can choose how we respond.
We can choose what we learn.
We can choose what we carry forward.

We can choose to become more while we are becoming.

In one of the transmissions in my memoir, the word “becoming” was used.

What does it mean?

We live in the Becoming—a place of change and transformation. Nothing is stagnant. Energy is always moving and transforming.

At the physical level, Mother Nature is constantly creating and changing. She carves rivers, shapes mountains, and transforms the landscape around us.

A seed becomes a sprout, then a seedling, and eventually a tree. The tree bears fruit, and within that fruit are seeds that begin the same cycle again.

Scriptures speak of different dimensions. This is the Earth dimension—the dimension where change is the nature of existence.

As the clock ticks, something changes.

We grow, often without thinking about the fact that we are changing. A baby becomes a child. A child becomes a teenager. A teenager becomes an adult. Throughout that entire process, countless changes are taking place—not only in the body, but in the mind, emotions, understanding, and perception.

So, as human beings, what are we becoming?

Is there something deeper unfolding within us?

Something about what a human being is capable of becoming?
